Overview

We invest significant resources in making our website and digital assets accessible in order to make the organization’s services more available to people with disabilities.

In Israel, approximately 20% of the population consists of individuals with disabilities who require digital accessibility in order to access general information and services.

The accessibility of the Zefat Academic College website is intended to make it more available, user-friendly, and convenient for populations with special needs, including those arising from various motor disabilities, cognitive impairments, low vision, blindness or color blindness, hearing impairments, and senior citizens.

This website was made accessible by the website accessibility company “Vee Website Accessibility.”

Accessibility Level – AA

The company “Vee” has adapted the website’s accessibility to common browsers and mobile phone usage to the greatest extent possible. Testing was conducted using JAWS and NVDA screen readers.

The website complies with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations 5688 (2013) at the AA level and implements the recommendations of the WCAG 2.2 guidelines published by the W3C organization.

How to Activate Accessibility Mode

An accessibility icon appears on the website (usually on the side of the page). Clicking the icon opens the accessibility menu. After selecting the desired function from the menu, please wait for the page to reload and for the selected display changes to take effect (if necessary).

To cancel a function, click the selected option again. Accessibility settings can be reset at any time.

The accessibility software operates in popular browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera (subject to manufacturer conditions). Accessible browsing is recommended using the Chrome browser.

The website provides a semantic structure for assistive technologies and supports standard keyboard navigation using the arrow keys, Enter, and Esc to exit menus and windows.

For the best browsing experience with a screen reader, we recommend using the latest version of NVDA.
