Project Snapshot

Drawing on ZAC's nationally recognized optometry program, along with the generous support of the Helmsley Charitable Trust, the Optometry Training and Outreach Initiative expands students' clinical training while making vision care better and more accessible in the Galilee. Through community clinics and a mobile, one-stop-shop clinic that brings vision care to underserved communities, tomorrow's northern optometrists offer Galilee's residents access to a better quality of life.
